Green Tea Live Limited (GTL) is committed to comply with relevant laws and health & safety legislation applicable to our industry and the countries we operate in. However, these areas of law and compliance are a given and are only a starting point for our commitment to a positive workplace and surrounding environments.

Respect the people and the world we operate in

The company and the people who work with us have a duty to follow ethical and social behaviours that promote a positive workplace environment. We know our employees are the most valuable asset to the success of Green Tea Live. Our employees are encouraged to provide constant feedback on operational issues and workplaces practices that can help to improve our service delivery ongoing. In keeping with our open door policy of communication, all our staff have direct contact with the owners of the company.

Green Tea Live expects its employees to live by the GTL values: Openess, Responsibility and Quality. Colleagues, customers, and other business partners must be treated with respect and fairness.

GTL encourages a harmonious working environment with zero tolerance to bullying or to any form of harassment linked to an individual’s sex or other personal characteristics.

GTL employees shall perform their work without the influence of alcohol or drugs Whenever in doubt, employees should raise their questions with a superior or contact the owners of the company.

Health & Safety

The health and safety, welfare and well being of employees is of paramount importance to GTL. It is our policy to create and improve standards of Health and Safety, which will lead to the avoidance and reduction of risks and to ensure that the company complies with all Health and Safety legislation. Detailed Health and Safety documentation are held on site for inspection at each event/location of work. 

At all times it is our policy to ensure the highest standards in food hygiene throughout our business. We operate and adhere to UK and EU food safety laws and follow NCASS approved food safety management system. We have developed procedures to ensure any hazards are identified, controlled and eliminated to serve food that is safe to serve and consume. 

All staff are expected to follow all health and safety rules, practices and take all necessary steps to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and our customers. To facilitate this, all staff are familiarized and trained in our safe practices with training both onsite and online. Higher level staff are trained in relevant UK government approved health and safety legislation. All front of house staff have a minimum Food Hygiene level 2 training and allergen training, with key staff members holding food hygiene level 3 training. Event managers hold Food Hygiene level 3 training, LPG gas training, first aid, allergen and fire extinguisher training. 

COVID 19 - We have taken guidance from Gov.uk and NCASS and introduced necessary protocols to create a safe working environment for staff and guests. All Covid 19 safe working practices and documentation is included on location within our Food Safety Management System onsite manual.

Allergen control

All food items on display are labelled with the allergens based on the 14 major allergens ( Guided by FSA). Advance notice of any other allergens not included in these 14 will be checked and labelled accordingly. All our menu boards, food labels, allergen cooking charts and buffet information is updated for every dish, salad dressing, garnish and sauce that is either produced on site, or purchased from a supplier, and is prominently displayed for inspection.
